Two AI timelines just became one

Five business days made your consultant pick your AI — and put humanoid robots on the warehouse floor.

This week, OpenAI launched Deployco: a $4B implementation subsidiary with Bain, Capgemini, and McKinsey listed as investors alongside TPG, Goldman Sachs, and SoftBank. Three days later, Anthropic answered with a PwC rollout covering hundreds of thousands of consultants, plus a $200M, four-year Gates Foundation partnership. The same week, Figure AI's humanoid fleet ran 81 hours autonomously and sorted 101,391 packages with no human pickers and no teleoperators in the loop.

The white-collar AI adoption curve and the physical-labor AI adoption curve just merged into a single timeline.

The two AI adoption curves are no longer separate timelines — they're the same calendar
